Hey babes, my name’s Zara and I’m the Director/Colour and extension consultant of Z and Co.

I can honestly say that after many years on the salon floor, working with hair is still my #1 passion. The feeling of being at work creating hair dreams and seeing the happiness on peoples faces is something so satisfying that I can’t imagine ever having that feeling doing anything else.

My passion and drive is what gets me out of bed and ready for work every day, but my incredible team and amazing clients is what makes me stay! I specialise in colours, extensions and cutting, however, blondes and balayage would be my go to for any colour session as I love the way they shine and move throughout the light. I have crowned myself the extension Queen of the salon as I am the avid extension addict haha. Let me know if I can help you with anything further :) xx

REBEKAH EMMETT - Senior STYLIST

Hey all, Rebekah here!

I’m a qualified Stylist from Hawkes Bay. I started my hairdressing career, straight out of high school in 2017.

My hair passion is for all things low maintenance, beautiful balayage work and baby light blondes. Prescribing the perfect home haircare regime for your specific hair-type and lifestyle is what gives me extra drive.

Having the opportunity to perform services that allow longer bookings is what I crave! This gives me the time to create friendships with my clients’ and pamper you all, the way you deserve.

Outside of work I’m a social butterfly, whose always up for an adventure and a drink! I love being around my friends and family (plus all the pets) along with some dry humour tv shows thrown in there too :).

Ai Takahashi - Senior Styist

My name is Ai. Ai means love in Japan :)

I’ve been a hairdresser for more than 14years, working in Japan, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. I moved to New Zealand in 2017.

The services I love to do most in salon are foiling, balayage, creative colour work and shorter hair cuts!

Traveling is something I really enjoy. What I love most about traveling is getting to learn and experience different cultures and languages. Out of all the countries I have had the pleasure to visit, Cuba and Mexico are my favourite so far.

From my own personal hair experiences as a client turned hair stylist, I have learned what works well for different hair types. Being aware and considerate of clients' needs and feelings is something I am very passionate about. I like to think of myself a hair diagnostic specialist who has a lot of knowledge about the health of the hair and scalp. Please don't hesitate to contact me about any of your hair goals or concerns.
