Let’s talk about Faq’s

 

- How do I book an appointment?

Through our website, head to the APPOINTMENTS link and fill in the form to send us a email request, or click the BOOK button at the top of the APPOINTMENTS page and it will take you through to our online booking. Alternate forms of contact are through email: hello@zandconz.com or phone: 04 8033133

- How do I move my appointment?

Through your online booking profile, you can login and adjust your booking appointments. Alternatively get in contact with us via the email request as listed above, email or phone. if you have a booking within 36hours, please contact us via email or phone.

- Whose the best stylist?

All our stylist are senior stylist and just as great as each other! We recommend heading on over to our MEET THE TEAM page and seeing which stylist would best suit you :)

- I want hair extensions, where to now?

Thats great! We would love to have you in and be able to help you out with extensions. Head on over to our WANT MORE?, click on the dropdown link A LITTLE BIT EXTRA and you will find all the extension information.

- How long will my hair appointment take?

Each service has different timeframes and can be variant on hair types. We will be happy to give you a time estimate when booking in for your services.

- What is the wait time for appointments?

We recommend rebooking your hair appointments in advance to avoid disappointment of not getting a preferred stylist. However we do understand that schedules can change, or lifestyles don’t suit a rebooking system. Depending on your availability for late nights and Saturday’s, we advise to book 6 - 8 weeks in advance. For an appointment during the day, we advise to book 3 - 4 weeks in advance. We do understand that these waiting timeframes may not suit everyone, which is why we always have a waitlist and last minute cancellation list available at all times. Contact us via email about a waiting list if you cant seem to get a booking and we will be happy to help!

- What are your prices?

If you head on over to our SERVICES link you will find all of our prices and services listed. We offer complimentary consultations and are always happy to go over what services we recommend for your dream hair.

- Do I have to pay for a consultation?

Yes. Our consultations are $10 for both extensions and colour. For future bookings, a consult fee is added on to a deposit payment. If you are thinking about a big colour change or wanting a full quote before your hair service, consultations are great! A consult takes around 10 - 15minutes.

- I use supermarket products at home, does that matter?

We don't recommend using supermarket hair products as they tend to leave a heavy film on the hair. This makes it harder for us to colour the hair strands and can result in an uneven colour. If you are heading for a big colour correction or colour change, we recommend switching to a professional brand for a month before your colour service.

- What is colour build up and does it affect my outcome?

Colour build up is an artificial pigment (dye) that has been placed on your hair. It is likely that it will remain on the hair until that hair has completely grown out, which may effect the colour outcome. This does not mean that a new colour is not achievable, however it is a hair journey. After your first session, we have a rough idea on how many sessions it will take to get to your end goal.

- Do you use Olaplex at your salon?

Yes we sure do! Olaplex is an additional cost to our services, ranging between $35 - $55. Please allow an extra 15 minutes into your schedule for this treatment service.

- Do I need to confirm my booking?

Yes you do need to confirm your appointment. We automatically send out the confirmation texts 2 days prior to your appointment as a friendly reminder. Unfortunately if appointments are not confirmed within 24 hours of the appointment and have failed to get in contact then we have to cancel the appointment.

- Do I need to cancel my appointment if I don’t confirm?

Yes. We appreciate if you can give us as much notice as possible for any cancellations so that we can fill that appointment spot. Failing to show up to an appointment results in a cancelation charge and in some cases a % of bookings.

- Do you have a cancelation policy?

We have a 36 hour cancelation policy. If you cancel your appointment within 36 hours of your booking, we will charge you the flat rate of the cancelation fee of $40. If you have booked an extension hair appointment or colour correction which required a deposit, you will be charged 50% of your deposit. If you are a ‘no-show’ then the minimum fee of your booking will be charged $60.

- Do you have parking available at your salon?

No on-site parking. There is plenty of 2 hour limit $4hour on-street parking on Tory Street, Jessie Street, College Street, Vivian Street and Tennyson Street. Wilsons car park Top of Tory (The Warehouse) 4 hour limit parking $4hour - first 90mins free. Care park 70 Tory Street no time limit - Early bird parking before 10am - 7pm $13 or $4hour.
